Saman Karimi
Saman supports the Ratings team as a data analyst, where she conducts in-depth due diligence, market research, and financial analysis on various venture capital funds.
Experience
In her most recent role, Sam worked at Village Capital, a non-profit and impact-focused venture capital, where she helped them launch and run two accelerator programs sponsored by MetLife and with partners such as Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Sam is passionate about early-stage and impact-driven startups. She practices yoga and meditation and advises founders in her free time.
Sam has graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, with a concentration in entrepreneurship and financial analysis. During her time at Haas, she worked on a startup project that won first place at the UCB's semesterly entrepreneurial award, Collider Cup. While at UCB, she also taught an entrepreneurship class where she hosted panels of successful founders and guided students from startup idea generation to execution.
